Princeton and Maysville are on a week three collision course, with both teams in the Class 1 high school football poll, released on Wednesday. Princeton's 20-6 victory over South Harrison pushed the Tigers up to number five in the poll this week, while Maysville's victory over King City pushed the Wolverines up two spots to number seven. The Tigers and the Wolverines will play each other next Friday, September 12th, in a game to be broadcast on 92.3 FM KTTN.

A singer who grew up near Princeton, moved as a youngster to Carl Junction, Missouri, near Joplin, and now is a freshman at Kansas State University will be performing twice today (Friday) at the Putnam County Fair in Unionville.

Desi Hickman has been a judge and performed the last two years at the Colgate Country Showdown in Trenton
